Let’s talk about business class flights. We are very lucky to have a generous father/father-in-law spring for us to fly business class for the first time on a recent jaunt to the land of deep dish and White Sox (thanks Pete!). Is it worth the money? Probably not. Is the grass greener on the other side? Absolutely yes. The best thing about it was undoubtedly the seat. Being able to lie down and have a nap after 4 complimentary alcoholic drinks in the first 90 mins of the flight was delightful. Personally, I like plane food anyway (weird I know) so while it was a level up to have real cutlery and glasses, it didn’t blow my mind. But having space is an absolute game changer!
So after 7.5ish hours in the air, we begrudgingly gave up our special little pods and said hello to the windy city!
